During this tour, you will explore the spiritual and historical heritage of Armenia.
The excursion begins at the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex, dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide of 1915. Here, by the Eternal Flame, you will feel the solemn atmosphere of remembrance and respect, and from the observation deck, enjoy a panoramic view of Yerevan and Mount Ararat.
Next, you’ll visit the “Ararat” Wine Factory, where you’ll learn about the winemaking process and taste some of Armenia’s finest wines.
The following stop is Etchmiadzin, the spiritual center of all Armenians and the site of the world’s first Christian cathedral. Here, you will find sacred relics such as fragments of the Holy Cross, Noah’s Ark, and the Spear of Destiny.
The tour concludes with a visit to the Zvartnots Temple, a 7th-century architectural masterpiece of Armenia and a UNESCO World Heritage site.
